RE: Tony Romo gets another record

ROMO ESPN feedback
If you ask me, Romo is the weak link again this year. He needs to be thrown under the bus.....er, RV. :)
Superbowl win?? Ha-ha!! Gotta win a playoff game first. Go back to the '80s and '90s and watch your VHS tapes you recorded over Fresh Prince.

RE: If bail out passes and works

You're right, I don't think you understand the market, Warren Buffett, or Berkshire stock. I guess I was just lucky 25 years ago, and luckier today buying. LMAO! :)
Joe, You really need to work on that reading comprehension.LMAO!!!:S:S:S
Good luck on trying to understand the markets! LMAO!:)

RE: Tony Romo gets another record

Who IS Tony Romo? What is his claim to fame?LOL!
It's turned to throwing games, after his last two outings. He's finished as an NFL Hall of Famer. LMAO! :)

RE: UPDATE Oil at $60 a barrel?

It's funny when people post; "never-evers" and other dire prognostications, when "the never-evers" are a reality. LOL! :)

RE: Doom and Gloom!

We are at the bottom or very close to it as of today.
We're not even close. Until the last remnants of greedy neo-capitalists I'm reading about are still vested and not driven out of stocks, we ain't there. Give it a while. :)

RE: If bail out passes and works

How much was the buy-in 42 years ago Joe?$19.00 a share....never split, never paid a dividend; (no tax event until you sell) if it meets my needs, which I have no doubt it will. The next generation gets the new tax-basis number at your demise. There were distinct advantages to being born and raised in Omaha, NE 40+ years ago.:)

RE: If bail out passes and works

Berkshire is too expensive for the average investor and near a 52 week low. It has also missed it's earnings estimate 2 of the last 3 quarters and is expected to miss the next quarter. The Oracle has been putting a lot of money in the market. Has he lost his touch or is the market so bad that no one can make any money? Only time will tell. Putting money in the market at this time, IMO, is not a good decision. He has said we are in a recession.
Gains can be spectacular but so can losses. No dividends or splits. Berkshire is not interested in selling to the common man. Right......wait until it's at a 52 week high and buy. :S
Congratulation on not buying a stock that has averaged and compounded at a 20%+ percentage rate for 42 years. Yeah, he's lost his touch with you.:S.

RE: Root of the Crisis

There'll always be complainers/experts on the economy out there. Especially ones that know nothing about stock markets. As far as I'm noticing, the time they complain about hard times here, they could be earning money somewhere. Ironies of ironies..... LOL!:)

RE: Doom and Gloom!

Wrong. I owe NOTHING and retired 1 month beyond 57th birthday. Actual date was 9/27/2005. See my signature for truck. Started paying cash for everythng 10 years ago and that includes a new house.Welcome to the club. I prefer a nice Mercedes-Benz' diesel of any age to an old pickup any day. Lots more economical.

RE: Root of the Crisis

Any one that can put 20% down should have a home, the rest should live with relatives or live in a apartment and save up the 20%. It is good for a person and the mate to learn how to save.In 1959 my Mom and Dad built an apartment building they borrowed to build. They rented the two-bedroom units for $97.50 a month, with no lease. If the tenants could find a better built, cleaner apartment, Dad said they were free to move. He also told the young couples to save money for their first home, so they could move up for themselves. He stayed at $97.50 a month rent for a few years.
Anybody can get ahead if they have half a brain. Always could get ahead too......nothing's changed but people's greed for credit. Too many "little guys" that can't get ahead are the complainers I've noticed in my short lifetime.
